When to skip a home routine
New pain and swelling in one leg, colour change or warmth may signal a problem needing urgent medical assessment. Do not deeply massage that leg or wait for cooling gel to work. With shortness of breath or chest pain, seek emergency help. A pleasant warming or cooling sensation does not establish improved blood flow.
Prepare useful information
Record when symptoms began, whether one or both legs are affected, and any recent long journey, surgery or new medicine. With recurring symptoms, ask for the cause to be assessed before trying massage, compression or supplements. For ordinary breaks from sitting, choose gentle movement you are allowed to do without treating it as a cure.
The place of cosmetics
You can compare Aloe MSM Gel as a cosmetic gel for healthy skin care, not as treatment for veins, thrombosis or swelling. Check the label and use it only as intended for skin. It is not presented as dissolving clots, repairing vein valves or guaranteeing a smaller leg measurement. Pain and swelling remain medical questions.
For recurrent heavy legs, note whether symptoms occur in the evening, involve both legs or only one, and include swelling. Mention prolonged sitting, recent travel or medicine changes. This is information for assessment rather than a home diagnosis. Do not strongly massage a new painful swelling or wait for a cosmetic gel to work before seeking help for warning symptoms.

Do not delay urgent assessment for a home massage.
