Aloe First is a cosmetic spray based on stabilised aloe vera gel. According to the Forever catalogue, it also contains allantoin, glycerin, vitamin E, bee propolis and extracts of calendula, yarrow, thyme, Roman chamomile, dandelion, eucalyptus, passion flower, sage, ginger, borage and sandalwood. It is meant to soothe the skin after minor cuts, scrapes, burns and sun exposure, and it is also used after waxing.
Basic first aid comes first
- For a minor cut, stop the bleeding by pressing with a clean cloth or bandage.
- Rinse the wound with water and pat it dry.
- If needed, cover it with a sterile plaster or dressing.
- For sunburn, get out of the sun, cool the skin with a cool shower or damp towel and drink enough water.
Where the spray fits
Aloe First can be used as optional care on cleaned, mildly irritated skin, for example after waxing or sunbathing. Spray from a distance and let it absorb. It does not replace cleaning a wound, a plaster or sun protection. Before the first use, test it on a small patch of skin, because propolis and plant extracts can cause an allergic reaction. If redness, itching or stinging appears, stop using it.
When to see a doctor
Contact a doctor or emergency services if the bleeding will not stop, the wound is deep, larger than about 5 cm or on the face or palm, or has dirt in it that you cannot rinse out. You also need a check if the wound swells, becomes more painful or produces pus, if you have a fever, and after a bite from an animal or a person. For sunburn with blisters, swelling, a fever, dizziness or nausea, get urgent advice, and always ask a doctor about young children.

Common questions
Can Aloe First replace sunscreen?
No. The spray does not protect against UV radiation. In the sun, use a product with suitable sun protection.
Can I use it if I am allergic to bee products?
Better not. The spray contains propolis, which can cause an allergic reaction. If your lips or throat swell or you have trouble breathing after use, use your prescribed adrenaline auto injector straight away if you have one, then immediately call your local emergency number.
Before first use
